Recruiter (Career Consulting Firm - Germany) - remote position with mandatory German language skills

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Recruiters to join our career consulting firm based in Germany. As a Recruiter, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals throughout their job search process, providing guidance, training, and coaching to help them successfully apply for job opportunities. Your focus will be on assisting candidates with application preparation, conducting mock interviews, and providing ongoing support and mentorship.

Tasks:

Candidate Support and Coaching:

  • Assist candidates in understanding job market trends, resume writing, and cover letter customization to enhance their application quality.
  • Provide guidance and coaching on interview preparation techniques, including conducting mock interviews and offering constructive feedback.
  • Mentor candidates in developing and improving their professional skills, such as communication, networking, and personal branding.
  • Conduct individual or group training sessions to equip candidates with job search strategies, including effective use of online platforms and professional networking.

Application Assistance:

  • Help candidates identify suitable job opportunities aligned with their skills, experience, and career aspirations.
  • Assist candidates in tailoring their resumes and cover letters to match specific job requirements and effectively highlight their qualifications.
  • Review and provide feedback on candidate applications, ensuring clarity, relevance, and professionalism.
  • Advise candidates on the effective use of online application portals and provide guidance on navigating applicant tracking systems (ATS).

Networking and Employer Engagement:

  • Build relationships with potential employers, HR professionals, and industry contacts to expand job opportunities for candidates.
  • Attend networking events, career fairs, and industry conferences to promote the firm’s services and establish connections.
  • Collaborate with employers to understand their hiring needs, job requirements, and company culture to better support candidates.
  • Advocate for candidates by recommending suitable candidates to employers and facilitating introductions or referrals.

Record Keeping and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, including application progress, coaching sessions, and outcomes.
  • Ensure confidentiality and comply with data protection regulations in managing candidate information.
  • Generate regular reports on candidate progress, job placements, and training activities to track performance and measure the impact of volunteer recruitment efforts.
Requirements:
  • Passion for supporting individuals in their career development and a strong desire to make a positive impact.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide guidance to candidates.
  • Previous experience in recruitment, career counseling, mentoring, or coaching is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with job search strategies, resume writing, and interview preparation techniques.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and offer guidance for professional improvement.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing candidate records and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and online platforms for candidate support.
  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in German
  • Knowing the German HR and recruitment market
