Senior Fullstack Developer — React / Python (f/m/d) — Remote in Germany

LocationFully remote — Germany | Frankfurt (≤ 4 days/month travel)
Salary€80,000 – €100,000 gross p.a.
EmployerDisclosed after intro call — placed by Talents2Germany

What you’ll own

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack features across the customer-facing platform — from API design to polished React UI
  • Collaborate directly with GenAI engineers to integrate LLM-powered capabilities into production workflows
  • Take end-to-end delivery ownership: architecture decisions, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring
  • Contribute to engineering culture: code reviews, RFC processes, documentation, and technical standards
  • Engage with enterprise clients’ technical stakeholders — translate complex requirements into clean, maintainable systems
  • Help grow the team: mentor junior and mid-level engineers; participate in hiring interviews

What we’re looking for

Technical must-haves

  • 5+ years of professional fullstack development experience
  • Strong React and modern TypeScript — you can architect a complex component tree and explain why
  • Solid Python backend experience (FastAPI or Django); you write idiomatic, testable code
  • Comfortable with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and RESTful API design; NoSQL and vector DB familiarity is a bonus
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (or GCP/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines in production environments

Who you are

  • German language on B1 / B2 level and willingness to learn German and to reach a working proficiency level (C1) within 6 months
  • You thrive in autonomous, async-first teams and communicate proactively in writing
  • You default to ownership, not waiting for someone to hand you a ticket

Strong bonus points

  • Experience integrating LLMs, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate), or AI APIs into production applications
  • Background in retail technology, e-commerce, or enterprise SaaS
  • Open-source contributions or public technical writing

Compensation & Benefits

  • €80,000 – €100,000 gross annual salary
  • 30 vacation days + German public holidays
