Placement Team Lead (f/m/d) — Full-time · Remote

The Placement Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the end-to-end placement process — managing recruiter performance, supervising candidate placement activities, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting candidates throughout their journey from onboarding to successful job placement.

Team leadership & coordination

  • Lead and coordinate the Placement Team to ensure smooth workflow execution and operational efficiency.
  • Assign responsibilities and distribute candidates across recruiters based on profile suitability and workload.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups, virtual check-ins, and performance reviews with recruiters.
  • Ensure recruiters consistently meet the KPIs and placement targets established by management.
  • Monitor recruiter productivity, application output, interview conversion rates, and candidate follow-ups.
  • Act as the main point of escalation for team challenges and candidate-related issues.

Candidate onboarding & profile evaluation

  • Oversee onboarding for newly joined candidates and ensure they understand the placement process and expectations.
  • Coordinate document collection and confirm candidate readiness before active placement begins.
  • Review and evaluate candidate profiles and ensure all required documents are submitted.

Job sourcing & candidate matching

  • Coordinate recruiters in sourcing suitable job opportunities across multiple platforms.
  • Ensure candidates are matched with opportunities aligned with their skills, experience, language level, and employer requirements.

Application management & interview coordination

  • Supervise the full application process from submission to employer response.
  • Ensure applications are professionally tailored and aligned with employer needs.
  • Monitor application tracking, follow-ups, and interview scheduling.
  • Support recruiters in providing resume improvements, interview coaching, and application guidance.

Candidate support & placement coordination

  • Ensure candidates receive continuous support throughout the placement journey.
  • Respond to candidate concerns, provide process updates, and resolve communication challenges.
  • Support communication between candidates and employers during final placement stages and coordinate contract discussions.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in recruitment, HR, placement coordination, or career support roles.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple candidates and recruiter workflows simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Proficient in recruitment platforms, tracking systems, and communication tools.
  • Fluency in English required; German language skills are an added advantage.
