Role: Senior Fullstack Developer — React / Python (f/m/d) — Remote in Germany

We are:

Talents2Germany is placing this role on behalf of our client — a fast-growing AI company operating in the retail technology space. We are looking for an experienced Senior Fullstack Developer to join their dynamic, international engineering team. You will take ownership of full product features — from database to UI — and play a central role in shaping the technical architecture of their customer-facing platform.

Our stack is modern, our team is diverse, and we move fast. You will collaborate directly with product, design, and GenAI engineers to build solutions that are already in the hands of major enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack features across our web platform
Collaborate closely with GenAI engineers to integrate AI-powered capabilities into the product
Take ownership of end-to-end delivery: architecture, implementation, testing, and deployment
Contribute to technical decisions, code reviews, and engineering best practices
Work with enterprise clients’ technical stakeholders when needed
Help grow the engineering team through mentoring and knowledge sharing

Must-Have Requirements:

Technical Skills

5+ years of professional experience in fullstack development
Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
Solid backend development skills in Python (FastAPI, Django, or similar)
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and RESTful API design
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines

Your profile Work Style & Communication

Comfortable working in an agile, cross-functional team with short release cycles
Excellent communication skills in English; willingness to learn German and to reach a working proficiency level (B2) within 6 months

Highly Desirable:

Experience integrating LLMs, vector databases, or AI APIs into production applications
Background in retail technology, e-commerce, or SaaS products
Contributions to open-source projects

Location / Working Model:

Based in Germany or willing to relocate — occasional travel to Frankfurt (up to 4 days/month)
