About Employer:
We are looking for a talented Backend Developer with a strong background in Kotlin to build modern, high-performance, and lightweight applications. You will be responsible for the core server-side logic and API development, using a powerful and concise language. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean code, concurrency, and leveraging the benefits of the Kotlin ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain back-end services using Kotlin and the Ktor framework.
- Implement and manage APIs that are scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless data flow and application functionality.
- Ensure the back-end systems meet performance, security, and reliability standards.
- Write clean, well-structured, and efficient code, contributing to code reviews and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from system architecture to deployment.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven professional experience as a Backend Developer.
- Expertise in the Kotlin programming language.
- Strong proficiency with the Ktor framework.
- Solid experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with API design principles.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with asynchronous programming and coroutines.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks.
