The Mission:

We are seeking a dedicated Robotic Simulation Engineer to design, build, and optimize high-fidelity simulation environments essential for training and validating next-generation robotic manipulation policies. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between simulated learning and real-world deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Environment Development: Design and implement highly realistic and physics-accurate simulation environments for novel robotic manipulation use cases (focusing on non-industrial/general-purpose tasks).
• Tooling & Optimization: Utilize and extend frameworks like NVIDIA Isaac Sim and NVIDIA Isaac Lab to optimize simulation performance, parallelization, and data generation efficiency.
• Platform Integration: Integrate and maintain simulation assets and models within established platforms like Gazebo for broader accessibility and testing.
• Policy Validation: Collaborate with AI Engineers to ensure the simulated environment accurately reflects the real-world dynamics required for policy transfer (sim-to-real).
• Software Development: Maintain clean, robust, and well-documented simulation code and modular assets.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Deep Hands-on Experience: Proven expertise in developing and optimizing complex robotic simulation environments.
• Core Simulators: Hands-on command of NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Gazebo.
• Framework Knowledge: Practical experience with NVIDIA Isaac Lab or similar learning frameworks.
• Programming: Strong proficiency in Python for scripting, environment setup, and data generation.
• Robotics Fundamentals: Solid understanding of robotic kinematics, dynamics, and manipulation principles.
