CAD / Electrical Design Technician

What you’ll Do:
- Create and adapt CAD drawings for electrical installations and related systems
- Support project execution by preparing technical documentation and schematics
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to clarify technical requirements
- Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards and safety requirements
- Occasionally provide input for construction-site related tasks and requirements
Tech Stack (Required):
- CAD software: AutoCAD (or equivalent CAD tools)
- Electrical design tools: EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar
- Basic electrical engineering knowledge: circuits, wiring, safety standards
Nice to have:
- APCD (Advanced Process Control & Design) knowledge for specialized tasks
- Familiarity with PLC schematics and automation systems
- Experience with 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks Electrical)
- Prior exposure to construction-site coordination or field installation support
Who you are:
- Background in electrical engineering, technical drawing, or related field (academic degree not required)
- Strong practical knowledge of electrical systems and how they function
- Skilled in CAD software for electrical drawings (AutoCAD or similar)
- Good communication skills in English (German not required)
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Professional training (apprenticeship, technician school) or relevant work experience highly valued
